Well, it is Wednesday, February 18, 2015....and this is my first official post on blogger!!
OK, yup, I'm blonde (don't mind blonde jokes)....I set this up a while ago, but...never posted any blogs, I thought I did something wrong setting it up, etc... I just figured out, all I needed to do was type!!
Anyway, I live in beautiful northern Minnesota. My blogs will mainly be about crafting and scrapbooking, altering items, all kinds of fun stuff! Oh! and you may probably hear me talk about my favorite topic of all...my grandchildren!! We now have 3!! Payton, our first granddaughter, will turn 6 this month, our second granddaughter, McKenzie, will turn 3 in April, and our newest addition, our grandson Mayson...who is only 3 weeks old!! His big sister Payton, is SO proud, and such a GREAT help to mom!!
Well, let's see....I have watched YouTube for many years now....when I first started watching Y/T, it was off our blue ray players, so watching on a television made it a little difficult to leave comments, or post anything to a certain fellow Y/Tuber... until recently when I finally got a Mac, and was able to finally communicate with others, and I've had such a great time meeting, and getting to know so many wonderful, kind, and just nice ladies and men! I have learned SO MUCH from so many other crafters, and I'm hoping to go a little further now and jump in and get my feet wet, by posting some of my own videos....(if I can figure that out, lol)....but it is a goal!
My first goal is to be done with my craft/scrap rooms, (yes, I need 2 rooms)... I have been working on this FOREVER!!! I am NOT kidding, LOL!! My poor hubbie even lost his "man cave", and has settled in our upper loft area! But, I think I'm literally just a couple days away from finally being finished!!! You see, I have 2 major problems....I kept changing my mind, literally, every other day on how I wanted things. How the room should be arranged, what furniture I should use, storage I should use, and believe me, I changed my mind so many times, it got out of hand!! I finally said "enough!" Be done... so far, so good...things are coming together, and I've even gotten so many projects started, (some completed) during this process.... the other problem I have is, I simply have TOO much stuff!! So, hopefully, by the middle to end of next week, I will be doing a destash sale, I will probably have it thru my facebook page, (Candi Lessin)....or....if I can figure out how, I will do a video! That is my next goal... (fingers crossed)
Well, I have started another adventure today, and I hope to post as much as I possibly can. I do not work out of the home anymore, we do own our own business, but I stay at home with my other little love....my little Bella, she is part pekingese and toy poodle, she is all white, and all heart! Yes, she is our "baby", since our children are grown and out of the house, so we spoil her as much as possible! And let me tell you, she is a guardian over our grandchildren, it's awesome the relationship she has with Payton, they have been together since Payton was born....so, now, she has little Mayson to watch over as well as Kenzie....
